Most Estate fencing is painted black but we can use any colour on the RAL paint chart and we have used many colours over the years and would be happy to discuss and advise. In any case, the steel bars are shot blasted and treated with an anti-rust primer before it arrives on site. We then re-prime after welding and spray paint the fence 2 topcoats on site once fitted. Whilst this provides very good anti rust protection please note that paintwork on both wrought iron and mild steel Estate fencing requires maintenance every few years.
Gates
Often simple structures the addition of ornate cast work or contemporary fabricated elements can produce truly elegant pergolas.
Britannia have a broad experience in manufacturing and installing steel and wrought iron Pergolas. These range from simple modular steel structures which can be self-installed to bespoke wrought iron tailored on site.
Pergolas can provide shade for a terrace, garden or pool, a support for climbing plants, an access through a garden or a focal point for specific features. They can be made to pretty much any length, can be standing or attached to any building.
Our standard modular Pergola’s are constructed from 20 or 25mm solid steel bar and comprise a series of hoops with a row of top and two rows of side connecting bars. They can be any size, any length and can have side hoops added to make offshoot arches, walkways etc. These can be supplied for self- installation and include ground sockets, and all necessary connectors.
BRACKETS
We have a range of decorative cast brackets, we are also able to create bespoke fabricated and cast brackets to your design.
COLUMN or PILLAR
We can produce fully cast columns as well as fabricated columns with a range of decorative collars. We have a range of cast pilar patterns. We can also produce fabricated pillars to bespoke designs in numerous patterns and shapes.
CROSS BEAM
These can be simple SHS/RHS beams or more decorative cast and fabricated designs as per preference.
Our Pergolas can vary from a mixture of fabricated and cast elements to purely fabricated. All cast and fabricated elements will be brought to the site ready finished. Installation may involve some ground works such as concreting uprights and wall fixings all of which will be done by us. Any further welding or fixing will be carried out on site before a final detailed finish is applied.
