BALCONIES

Over 30 years of experience casting, fabricating and installing balconies from giant to Juliet.

Often forming an integral part of a building’s façade, balconies have evolved with architecture over time. We specialise in balcony design and construction whether its cast iron or aluminium replicating patterns which are seen on regency buildings up and down the UK or more contemporary designs. We have worked with architects and private clients alike to achieve some amazing work.

Britannia offers a comprehensive service designing, manufacturing and installing new and replacement balconies and balcony balustrades in cast iron or mild steel. We also offer design, fabrication and installation of first fix supporting steelwork.

We have an extensive collection of existing patterns for cast iron balustrade panels, including many historical patterns from around London and use pattern makers to create new patterns, either matching existing or creating new designs.

We are able to match most existing cast iron balcony balusters from the Edwardian and Victorian era including bowed balusters from Juliet balconies and hold a number of patterns for cast iron balcony treads and landing plates.
